This one was fun... I wanted to make something that looked fairly simple at first glance, but had a certain degree of urban "grunge" to it that revealed itself the more closely one looked at it. The top of the painting, as you can see, was intentionally crafted to let some of the canvas show through behind the strokes. The resulting is a "sky" that at some points looks eerily unfinished, and at other points hints that you may be looking at the distant shadows of countless more buildings looming in the background.
